My name is Kizzy and this is my blog. I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, Carl, his beard, Stephen the rainbow boa, and a fussy black guinea pig named Neptune. I enjoy reading, traveling, and eating spicy foods. I started this blog because I have time for it and because I want to believe that two degrees in Linguistics can be useful for something more than making small talk at parties.
